  • Celebrating Physician Anesthesiologist Week 2025

    We join our colleagues across the U.S. in recognizing the critical role anesthesiologists have in ensuring patient safety before, during, and after surgery and in the moments that matter most. We also received a proclamation from New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham honoring this week focused on patient safety.

The New Mexico Society of Anesthesiologists is dedicated to promoting the highest standards of anesthesiology within the state of New Mexico. Our mission is to foster excellence through continuing medical education,  to monitor and promote public policy to enhance patient care, and to serve as an advocate for anesthesiologists and their patients.
